Restaurant Games

The economy's impact on the restaurant industry is no laughing matter. But some restaurant operators are turning to games to try to lift the mood and elevate sales.

Nationwide, 2008 restaurant sales, when adjusted for inflation, dipped for the first time since the economic slump of 1991, according to the National Restaurant Association.

For those slow weekdays why not try a game night - typically on a Tuesdays.

Traditional board games such as dominoes and Scrabble, along with a finger-foods menu. By offering a games night you are offering the customer more for their money, and in the current climate - more for your money is never a bad thing!

Restaurants that have tried this approach have found their takings up by over 50 percent.

You could find the games so popular that you have to buy more games.
